How do I reset my password?

  1. Click on the "Lost your password?" link on the Login form or go straight to this link: https://www.gensix.com/my-account/lost-password/, enter the email address you used to create your account, then click the button “Reset Password”
  2. An email with a link and instructions should be sent to your email address. If you aren’t seeing an email, it’s likely going to your spam or Junk folder, so be sure to check there just in case.
  3. Clicking the link in your email will take you to a page where you can enter your new password.
  4. You will then be redirected to the login page again where you will use your existing username along with your new password. Don’t forget to copy your password somewhere safe for the next time you need it.

Note: If you are not receiving an email (even to your junk folder) to reset your password, don't panic. There are several reasons you may not be receiving a reset password:

  • Emails such as @icloud.com, @mac.com, and @me.com (among several others) seem to notoriously reject emails that have more than one link in them, so you may not see a reset email if you happen to be using one of those emails. 
  • If you don't actually have a GenSix account associated with the email you're trying to reset, you won't receive a password reset.
